This partnership provides Qflow customers to send real time delivery and waste data through to Smartwaste. In order to setup a Smartwaste integration we need the following information:
- User Name
- Client Id
- Public Key
- Private Key
- Smartwaste Project ID

- 1: Demolition
- 2: Excavation
- 3: Construction
- 5: Modular
- 6: Post-Completion
Once we have these details, please can you ensure that the following box has been ticked on your Smartwaste account:
💡Only records emailed through to Qflow can be sent to Smartwaste.
What is required on a waste transfer note to ensure that the integration is successful?
- Tonnage
- Facility name
- EWC code
- Container type
- Waste carrier name
Waste Registration Failure Reasons
- Unable to register facility. No name provided - we need to know the name of facility the waste is being sent to and this needs to match exactly what is in smartwaste
- Failed to register waste item - missing container type
- Unable to match SW product: EWC code: - missing EWC code
- Failed to make a match on ContainerType to SW skips. ContainerType:40 YD
What is required on a delivery note to ensure that the integration is successful?
- Delivery Date
- Supplier Name
- Material Product Group
We only send delivery data for the following product groups:
- Aggregate
- Bricks and blocks
- Concrete
- Concrete pre cast
- Concrete in situ
- Insulation
- Plasterboard
- Rebar
- Structural Steel
- Timber
If a product line item does not have a weight or volume (mandatory for Smartwaste) we will send a default value of 0.0001 and add a comment to the line items note in Smartwaste that reads “Negligible weight/volume set” you can then update the weight/volume in Qflow and those updates will be sent to Smartwaste.
‼️ Changes made to Smartwaste entries by clients are not reflected back into Qflow
