Overview
The Qflow Homepage is the first screen you see when you log in. It provides a clear, role-based snapshot of delivery, waste, and alert activity so you can quickly understand what’s happening and what needs your attention.
The Homepage is designed to be simple, relevant, and secure showing you only the data you are permitted to see.
How permissions work on the Homepage
Permissions on the Homepage follow the same access rules already used across Qflow. Nothing new has been opened up, and no additional data is shared.
What you see depends on:
- Your role (e.g. account admin, project user, assignee)
- The projects you have access to
- Records that are specifically assigned to you
If you cannot access a record elsewhere in Qflow, it will not appear on your Homepage.
Why different users see different information
It’s expected and intentional that users may see different numbers or tiles on the Homepage.
For example:
- Assignees see records and alerts assigned to them
- Project users see data for their project(s) only
- Account admins see higher-level summaries across the account
This ensures:
- Sensitive data is not overexposed
- Subcontractors only see their own information
- Each user gets a view that is relevant to their responsibilities
Clicking tiles and viewing records
Homepage tiles are interactive. When you click a tile, you’ll be taken directly to a filtered list of records within Qflow.
Examples include:
- Open alerts
- Records assigned to you
- Delivery or waste records for your project
The filters applied respect your permissions you will never be taken to records you are not allowed to view.
Why the Homepage may look different from dashboards
The Homepage is designed to give a high-level overview, not detailed reporting.
You may notice differences compared to dashboards because:
- Dashboards may include broader data sets
- The Homepage only shows data you’re permitted to see
- The Homepage focuses on summaries and actions, not deep analysis
If you have access to dashboards, you can still navigate to them as before.
Utilities data on the Homepage
Utilities data is not currently included on the Homepage.
This does not affect:
- Existing Utilities functionality elsewhere in Qflow
- User permissions related to Utilities
The Homepage currently focuses on deliveries, waste, and alerts only.
If something doesn’t look right
If you believe:
- You’re seeing data you shouldn’t
- You’re missing data you expect to see
Please contact Qflow Support or Customer Success Manager so access and assignments can be reviewed.
Key takeaways
- The Homepage respects all existing permissions
- Users only see data relevant to their role and access
- Tiles link to filtered records securely
- The experience is designed to be clearer, not broader
