With Qflow Alerts, you can spot issues early, prevent costly mistakes, cut unnecessary expenses and avoid schedule delays.
Alerts are triggered automatically based on your project rules, flagging things like suppliers or materials missing certificates, unapproved suppliers, waste compliance, or incorrect fuel types.
Previously, notifications from triggered alerts (also referred to as Issues) would show in the Events pages for both waste and deliveries. These Issues have now moved to the Alerts tab and each alert type has its own page.
Current Available Alerts include:
- Material Certifications
- Waste Compliance
- Submission Issues
- Quality Assurance
- HVO Fuel: When Qflow detects a fuel delivery that is not hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), we will alert you to ensure you stay on track with your sustainability goals.
- Logistics Window: Set specific logistics windows for your project for individual days and times. Qflow will alert you to deliveries outside of your specified window, this is based upon the date and time stated on the delivery note.
- Supplier Watchlist: Provide Qflow with a list of suppliers you don’t want to be seeing on your site and we will notify you if these suppliers make any deliveries.
- Product Watchlist: Add key products to Qflow’s watchlist and be notified when these items are delivered to your project.
- Material Thresholds: Get real-time visibility when records exceed your defined limits, helping you stay on top of unusual activity.
How to set up Alerts
If you are an Account Admin and already have Alerts enabled, head over to the Account Settings in the Qflow web portal, and then to Alert Settings. If you don't yet have Alerts enabled, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager or reach out to us at Customer Support.
Once your selected Alerts are enabled, be sure to add alert recipients so that the correct people are notified of any issues. Alerts will be sent once a ticket has been digitised and published on the Qflow portal and recipients will be notified via email.
If you have multiple Alerts set up, copy your email recipients from previously setup alerts to save time.
An in-depth explanation of the different Alerts can be found here.
Managing Alerts
Once an Alert is triggered, a notification will be sent via email. You can view all triggered Alerts in the Alerts section of the Qflow portal. The Alerts are divided into 4 main category pages (waste compliance, material certifications, quality assurance, submission issues).
From here, you can see a log of all issues that have been detected related to Alerts, and each Alert is linked to the relevant record.
You will also be able to see if an Alert has been triggered on individual records, this will show in the Alerts section of the record's page on the right-hand side.
